1. Terms of Shipping & Cargo Carriage
By engaging the services of PG Trucking System (operated at Mojon, Bantayan, Cebu), the Shipper/Customer acknowledges and agrees that PG Trucking operates as a private commercial freight carrier providing inter-island cargo logistics across the Bantayan Island to Cebu mainland transit corridor.
1.1 Cargo Declaration & Regulatory Permits
Shippers are strictly required to provide accurate declarations regarding cargo weight, dimensions, and contents. Pursuant to Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), and local municipal biosecurity ordinances:
- Agricultural, Fisheries & Livestock Cargo: Mandatory shipping permits and inspection clearances from the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) / Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) must be presented prior to vessel boarding.
- Prohibited Items: Hazardous chemicals, unauthorized flammable items, illegal firearms, contraband, and undeclared commercial livestock are strictly barred from transport.
- Permit Uploads: Digital upload of legitimate municipal clearances via our booking form is legally binding under Republic Act No. 8792 (Electronic Commerce Act of 2000).
1.2 Ro-Ro Ferry Transit & Force Majeure
Transit between Bantayan Island (Hagnaya Port • Santa Fe Port) involves maritime Roll-on/Roll-off (Ro-Ro) ferry crossings. PG Trucking is not liable for schedule delays arising directly from:
- Severe weather alerts and Gale Warnings issued by PAGASA.
- Coast Guard sea travel suspensions or port terminal congestion.
- Unscheduled maritime ferry technical interruptions beyond reasonable carrier control.

2. Payment Terms & Down Payment Policy
PG Trucking utilizes an official GCash cashless payment verification system alongside verified Cash on Delivery (COD) for cargo handling:
- 30% Down Payment: A minimum 30% advance deposit via GCash is mandatory to lock in truck dispatch and Ro-Ro ferry reservation. The remaining 70% balance is payable to the driver upon delivery.
- 100% Wholesale Pakyaw Option: Senders chartering an entire exclusive truck (up to 15,000 kg) may opt for 100% upfront settlement.
- Reference Number Verification: GCash reference numbers submitted via the booking portal are subject to automated format checks and administrative verification against official ledger statements.
3. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Customers may submit booking cancellation requests via our self-service portal. Refunds are calculated based on logistics commitment timelines:
- More than 24 Hours before Scheduled Pickup: 100% full refund of the down payment amount.
- Between 12 to 24 Hours before Pickup: 70% refund (30% retained for terminal reservation costs).
- Less than 12 Hours or After Truck Dispatch: Non-refundable down payment due to incurred fuel, driver allocation, and port staging expenses.
- Weather / Force Majeure Cancellations: If trips are aborted due to Coast Guard weather bans, customers may choose a 100% full refund or free rescheduling to the next available sailing.
All approved refunds are remitted directly to the customer's registered GCash mobile number with formal notification sent to their verified email address.
4. Driver Terms of Service & Route Dispatch Obligations
Authorized fleet drivers operating under PG Trucking are subject to statutory safety requirements under Republic Act No. 4136 (Land Transportation and Traffic Code) and internal carrier protocols:
- Route Dispatch Tracking: Drivers explicitly consent to route checkpoint tracking throughout their assigned delivery route. Status updates and transit coordinates are shared with clients strictly for monitoring active shipments pursuant to Republic Act No. 10173.
- Cargo Integrity: Drivers must inspect permit documents, verify package seals upon handover, and secure the recipient's digital signature or acknowledgement proof upon drop-off.
- Zero Substance Policy: Operating commercial fleet vehicles under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or fatigue is strictly prohibited and constitutes grounds for immediate termination and statutory reporting.
