PG Trucking System (operated at Mojon, Bantayan, Cebu) is committed to safeguarding personal data entrusted to us by customers, drivers, fleet personnel, and portal visitors. We strictly enforce the transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality principles set forth in Republic Act No. 10173 (The Data Privacy Act of 2012) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).
2. Personal Data We Collect & Process
We collect and process personal data solely for legitimate logistics dispatch, cargo safety, and regulatory compliance purposes:
- Sender & Consignee Details: Full name, verified mobile number, email address (for booking notices, complaints, and cancellation updates), and pick-up/drop-off street addresses.
- Cargo Specifications & Biosecurity Documentation: Cargo descriptions, weight declarations, and digital copies of government-mandated shipping inspection permits (BAI/BFAR clearances).
- Payment Proof & Transaction References: GCash reference numbers, transaction timestamps, and settlement amounts. We never store or request your GCash MPIN or private banking credentials.
- Driver Profile & Credential Data: Driver full names, contact numbers, vehicle plate numbers, and assigned fleet IDs.
3. Route Dispatch & Location Tracking Policy
To ensure cargo safety and transparent transit between Bantayan Island and Cebu mainland:
Driver Dispatch Consent: Operating drivers agree to route status and checkpoint tracking during active deliveries.
Customer Tracking Scope: Senders and recipients can monitor cargo transit progress and estimated delivery times using their assigned booking code. Tracking access concludes automatically upon delivery completion.
5. Internal Data Protection Policy
Customer, driver, and transaction records are strictly safeguarded by PG Trucking:
- Restricted Access: System access is strictly limited to authorized logistics administrators for verified business purposes.
- Strict Confidentiality: All staff are bound by non-disclosure agreements prohibiting unauthorized extraction or sharing of user records.
- Activity Auditing: Administrative actions, cancellations, and status modifications are recorded to maintain accountability.
- Secure Data Protection: System data and backups are encrypted and stored in secure, access-controlled environments.
6. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under Republic Act No. 10173, you are entitled to the following statutory rights:
- Right to be Informed: You have the right to know how your personal data is collected and processed.
- Right to Access: You may request copies of your shipment history and personal records on file.
- Right to Rectification: You may correct inaccuracies in your contact details or destination addresses.
- Right to Erasure or Blocking: You may request the deletion of non-essential records following the fulfillment of mandatory tax and shipping retention periods.
